CONDUIT

Conduit presents an innovative, compelling, and violently unquantized approach to groove based electronic music. The band/improvisation collective, OHMSLICE, features free jazz mainstay, Daniel Carter, as well as alumni and collaborators from King Missile III, Swans, and Blue Man Group. Bandleader and producer, Bradford Reed, is inspired by the mysterious auditory expanses of early synthesists and electro-acoustic pioneers. The Ensemble combines conventional instruments over a bass heavy backdrop of double drumming processed live through a modular synthesizer. Organic syncopations highlighted by gooey analogue pulses and drones provide the vehicle for vocalist, Jane LeCroy's, sexy explorations into the nature of things.
