WHAT DO WE DO NOW

What Do We Do Now is the fifth solo studio LP recorded by J Mascis. What Do We Do Now began to come together during the waning days of the Pandemic. Utilizing his own Bisquiteen Studio, J started working on writing a series of tunes on acoustic with a different dynamic than the stuff he creates for Dinosaur Jr.
The new song 'Can't Believe We're Here' is out now - with pulsating lead guitar and a plaintive vocal, there's a bittersweet feel to the songwriting that extends far beyond Dinosaur Jr sound and finds him
in a strangely familiar yet new realm.
Mascis recruited Ken Maiuri (of the B-52's) to play keys and Matthew "Doc" Dunn to perform steel guitar on What We Do Now.
