Originally released on germany's Sky Records in 1979. Now re-issued here on 180 gram vinyl. Gunter's 2nd solo album (his first album was out on Brain Records), was titled Overdue and Gunter developed his own unique, forward-looking type of music, therefore assuming himself and exceptional position in German electronics. In spite of the clearly discernible influence of music from the so-called Berlin school (Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel), Gunter is anything but a copycat. His own take on minimalism places him closer to the likes of the Steve Reich and Glen Branca. Liner notes by Asmus Tietchens.
