THE JOURNEY AFLAME

'The Journey Aflame' is the debut album by Connecticut-born rapper Akua Naru. Grooving
hip hop peppered with a mixture of blues, jazz, soul and African sounds - that's how you
could describe the musical diversity of the record. A compilation of 13 very different songs
adorn the first official work by the 'passionate poet', as she describes herself. Akua received
musical support from New York rapper Blitz The Ambassador. German soul singer Mic
Donet, who has performed on stage with Erykah Badu, Outlandish and Carlos Santana, is
also among the guests. Producer team TheDrumkidz are responsible for the production.
