'Rock and Roll Over' was the fifth studio album by Kiss, first released in 1976, It was recorded at the Star Theatre, and in order to get the proper drum sound, Peter Criss recorded the drum tracks in a bathroom, communicating via video-link with the rest of the band, Criss's vocals are featured on the tracks "Baby Driver" and "Hard Luck Woman", Paul Stanley, who originally wanted the latter song to be sung by Rod Stewart, gave it to Criss, after Gene Simmons insisted Criss sing the song instead.


This year marks the 40th Anniversary of rock and roll giants KISS and in true KISS fashion, the band plan to make 2014 the biggest and loudest, non-stop rock and roll party of the century, To celebrate their incredible 40-year recording career and their upcoming, long-overdue induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, Universal Music are continuing with the third batch of individual KISS remastered albums on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl.
