First released later in 1971, Rainbow Bridge premiered signature classics such as "Dolly Dagger." and further outlined the exciting new creative direction in which Hendrix had steered his music.


Featuring favourites like "Room Full Of Mirrors" and "Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)." Rainbow Bridge was compiled and mixed by Hendrix's longtime engineer Eddie Kramer and drummer Mitch Mitchell (with assistance from fellow Electric Lady Studios engineer John Jansen), In a review by Robert Christgau, Rainbow Bridge was praised for the "sound [Hendrix] shapes with a virtuosity no one else has ever achieved on an electric instrument."
