RACHMANINOV: CONCERTO NO. 3 (LP)

Part of the Mercury Living Presence vinyl series, the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.3 was recorded on June 16 and 17, 1961, in Watford Town Hall, outside London, on both 35 mm magnetic film and half-inch 3-track tape, using free Telefunken 201 microphones. This LP was cut at Abbey Road Studios from Wilma Cozart Fine's 3-2 mixdown of first-generation 3-track 1/2" tape. 180 gsm vinyl, original LP cover and liner notes included.
