Jake Mann + the Upper Hand's Parallel South has been keyed for vinyl release since the writing stages. Sequenced primarily for the LP experience, the album's catchier tracks are balanced across both sides with the longer-burning epics carrying the listener to the lead-out groove. Crossbill Records opted for a limited-edition release of 500 that includes download coupons for 320kbps mp3s and a lyric sheet. The record's cover art was custom-tailored to the 12" sleeve size with original Holga photography and collage work by Mann completed at this scale. (the backside layout + LP center label art are unique to this release format as well) Mastered for vinyl and pressed in the Netherlands.
