100% of proceeds of that release went directly to the charities - Noise for Now, The Brigid Alliance, and Abortion Care Network.
Volume 2 is now here, with unreleased tracks/versions/covers from Faye Webster, Courtney Barnett, Julia Jacklin, The War on Drugs, MC50, Claud, Big Freedia, SOFIA ISELLA, Becca Mancari, A.J. Haynes (of Seratones), and with a track from the original compilation, David Byrne and Devo.
This is being released on June 21, around the anniversary of Dobbs (June 24), which was the SCOTUS decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.
We are announcing it today, March 26th, to align with the Supreme Court arguments on mifepristone, a safe and effective abortion pill that was approved two decades ago.
