The 87th release on Pressure Sounds focuses on Jimmy Riley's self-productions. Following his time singing with the Uniques, he initially recorded as a solo singer and writer for Bunny Lee before moving away to work independently. Producing his own recordings and others by artists such as Slim Smith and Delroy Wilson, Riley continued to work into the mid-eightees with Sly and Robbie's Taxi Productions. Live It To Know It takes in tracks from 1975 to 1984.??Jimmy Riley certainly has a star quality in him. We used to look up to him as a role model, because he was the biggest singer in our community.
