HURT FOR ME

From his basement recording studio in the small town of Issaquah, WA outside Seattle, Brian Fennell began to write and record songs under the name SYML, which means simple in Welsh. With a keen grasp on textural and emotive songwriting, he combines bare piano, minimalist synth, string-scapes, and etherial vocals. Adopted and not knowing his history or connection to his Welsh roots, many of these songs are influenced by the complex feelings that come from unknown lineage.??In My Body, the follow up to his debut EP Hurt For Me will also feature his hit single, Where's My Love which?boasts over 100 MILLION streams worldwide. Both EPs will be available on limited edition colored vinyl.??With recent sold-out shows in New York and London, SYML will start 2018 with a SOLD OUT headline show in Vancouver on January 12th, followed by a special EP release show in New York City at Rockwood Music Hall on January 25th.
