Limited 140gm green vinyl LP pressing. The Great Balloon Race is the sixth album by Sky, originally released in 1985. The first album to be released after John Williams' departure and over a year in the making, this is perhaps the most jazz-influenced of all Sky albums. The band was more adventurous and the late Kevin Peek shines on guitar in Williams absence. A worthy addition to the reissue campaign and well worth a listen.
