GET IT OUT 'CHA SYSTEM

Released in 1978, Get It Outcha System was the follow-up to Feelin Bitchy, which went gold in 1977 and spawned two hit singles. The first single taken from Get It Outcha System was Jacksons beautiful take on the Kenny Rogers ballad Sweet Music Man which reached #33 in the US soul singles chart. Other tracks on the album covered familiar Jackson territory from the tender He Just Wants To Hear The Words to Logs And Thangs where Jackson warned her man that if he did not light her fire then shed put another log in her fireplace! This was the Millie Jackson her fans loved. Get It Outcha System went gold upon release and peaked at #14 on the Billboard Soul album chart.
