Limited seven inch vinyl pressing. Marco Benevento continues to reinvent himself with "Dropkick," an instantly infectious dance rock number. "Dropkick" has been popping up regularly as an encore in Benevento's sets and finds the much adored pianist becoming a full-fledged singer, a component of his work that was only just introduced to his sound on last year's LP, Swift. The b-side is Benevento's take on The Crystals' cult fave "Little Boy," updated here as "Little Girl," which presents a re-imagination of Phil Spector's Wall of Sound production found on the original recording.
