"The Art Of Drowning" is a landmark album for punk in the late 90's and early years of the new millennium, Having been on the scene since 1991 AFI started to hit their stride and make a massive name for themselves with this album, With punk anthems like "Days Of The Phoenix", "The Despair Factor" and "The Lost Souls" it is easy to see why the AFI fan-base swelled after the release of this album, Throw in "Morningstar", "Ever and a Day" and "6 to 8" to pull at the heart-strings and you have an absolute masterpiece that changed the whole punk game going forward.
